Description
Serbian DJ and producer Milos Pesovic debuts on SRUR with the superb two track EP entitled Promises. Milos caught the electronic music bug in the early 90's having listened to The Prodigy and Carl Cox. In those days he couldn't afford DJing equipment but he was able to learn his skills playing at private parties on borrowed decks. In 2007 he was able to get his own set-up and took his mixing to the next level. The next step for Milos was producing, in 2011 he took up working in the studio and has seen releases on Go Deeva, Beat Therapy, Adapt Recordings and 76 Recordings among others.
Promises intros with a cool punchy kick and bright open hats alongside rhythmic drums. A deep, well rounded bass joins in and sets the track up for a groovy ride into tech house. Those slick percussions become the backbone of the track allowing it to stand tall in any set. Subdued vocals litter the track and provide a mesmerizing element to the groove as the tight drum arrangement filters in and out. A superb dance friendly cut that will definitely do well on the floors.
Say Something gets going with a nice big dirty kick and slicing hat combi alongside a collection of various other percussions that make up a solid rhythm. The bassline thunders in with its deep and grooving prowess to dominate the sound. The break throws up some cool house chords that fade away as we head back to the main sound. Sinister, deep voices come through and sit perfectly as huge noisy FX make their presence known. A top notch slice of tech house you will not want to miss.
