However, when the COVID-19 pandemic shut down clubs in 2020 and made it impossible to celebrate in familiar spaces, the team made a pivotal decision: they organized illegal raves at off-locations – events that often ended with a heavy police presence and helicopter deployments. But they were not discouraged. On the contrary, they evolved. From underground events to major club nights in Berlin, Paris, and Amsterdam. Supported by an outstanding team of lighting and sound technicians, they managed to transform off-locations into warehouse-style spaces and professionally equip the legendary E-Werk in Berlin, as well as numerous festivals. During this time, they shaped the scene with unique energy and vision. Concrete’s greatest dream was to build their own float for the Loveparade. And in 2023 – after years of hard work and determination – that dream finally became a reality. With changes in the team and new priorities, Concrete will focus entirely on music releases in the coming years, continuing to enrich the dance music culture. ⛓ ⛓ ⛓ ⛓ ⛓ ➣ We stand for a unity, thinking outside the box ⛓ to allow changes to the better. ⛓ Rave is a protest movement, ⛓ a contradiction in capitalism. ⛓ We create spaces within ⛓ and allow this unity to grow.
