Description
Sebastian Markiewicz is returning to his Compatible Music label in May with the release of "Seismic Body," featuring a remix from French producer Ron Costa. Markiewicz, originally from the coast of Poland and now based in Manchester, UK, has spent years studying electronic music and sound engineering, resulting in a refined and deep, hypnotic style.
The original version of "Seismic Body" is a brooding techno cut with a blooming atmospheric intro, introducing crunchy drums and a gritty saw wave bass hook, as well as off-kilter percussion. The result is a moody and raw track that is sure to make an impact in the early hours of a dark club.
On the B-side, Ron Costa's rework features simple yet effective drums and plays on the penetrating bass, adding elongated delays, a bulbous subby bass, and subtle filter automation to create impact at the drops. As expected, Costa delivers a heady interpretation designed for the peak-time dance floor. "Seismic Body" will be available on May 27th, 2013.
