What a special treat to have the opportunity here to bring Vocalatti's sultry singing and Flutemaker David Williams' gorgeous flute sound together on the favorite of ours, George Gershwin's classic Summertime. So many here on SoundCloud know Vocalatti's delicious and warm vocals, and she certainly sets the tone early with her smooth and soulful voice. And speaking of voices, there isn't a finer flute player on SoundCloud than Flutemaker David Williams, who when not laying down the most elegant tone and phrasing imaginable, designs and makes some of the very finest flutes in the world. In the world. The two of them sound so wonderful together, and despite the cool fall weather across much of the northern hemisphere, we're bringing Summertime to you.
